・Ikebukuro is one of three subcentres of Tokyo, and Chinatown there is
situated at the north side of station, between Mizuki Street and Heiwa
Street.
・This is a relatively new Chinatown, and there is no gate or traditional
coloured signs, as seen in other Chinatowns.
・Different from historical Chinatowns, such as Yokohama, Kobe and Nagasaki,
which were built just after WW2, Ikebukuro's Chinatown was formed recently,
and still growing.
・Therefore, it may be hard to recognize it as a Chinatown at first, but once
you enter, you can feel real Chinese residential atmosphere.
